碩士 / 東吳大學 / EMBA高階經營碩士在職專班 / 102 / The purpose of this studay is to evaluate logistic performace of L Company in FMCG industry. Furthermore, it provides suggestion for top management when making decision. By selecting data from 2011 to 2013 and using Dynamic Network DEA and Malmquist Productivity Index to measure the efficiency and productivity of each division in L Company. Finally, we also use Wilcoxon Scores Test to evaluate logistic performance between divisions. The input variables are freight cost, receiving cost, pick & pack cost, and return handling cost, intermediate-goods are storage cost and related personnel cost, output variable is sales revenue and carry-over variable is inventory.
The empirical results are summarized as follows,
1.Logistic performance in three divisions all showed the same trend, which is 2011 the best performed, following is 2013 and 2012.
2.The progress or regression of Total Factor Productivity major caused by Frontier-shift effects.
3.Total Factor Productivity of Professional Products Division showed significant differences compared with Consumer Products Division and Active Cosmetics Division.
