A Study on the Relationship among Organizational Culture, Trust Relationships and Work Values : The Case Study of the Coast Guard Administration / 組織文化、信任關係與工作價值觀關聯性之研究-以行政院海岸巡防署為例

碩士 / 世新大學 / 行政管理學研究所(含博、碩專班) / 102 / The objectives of this study are to examine the current status of the Coast Guard Administration with respect to Organizational Culture, Trust Relationships and Work Values, analyze the variations in them among respondents with different background variables, explore the interrelationship among the constructs under study, and use regression analysis to understand the impact of Organizational Culture on Trust Relationships, Organizational Culture on Work Values and Trust Relationships on Work Values .
A questionnaire survey design was employed and quantitative research was adopted in this study. 230 questionnaires were issued to respondents drawn from the Coast Guard Administration and 224 were collected. Among those 224 questionnaire, 215(93.48%) were valid while the other 9 were invalid. After coding, the data set were later analyzed using descriptive statistics, T test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson Correlation, and regression analysis.
The results of this study are as follows:
1. The CGA personnel with different personal background such as gender, marriage status and job level demonstrate significant differences in Organizational Culture.
2. The CGA personnel with different personal background such as gender reveal significant differences in Trust Relationships.
3. The CGA personnel with different personal background such as gender exhibit significant differences in Work Values.
4. As a whole, the respondents achieve above average scores of Organizational Culture, Trust Relationships and Work Values. Among them, Trust Relationships has the highest scores, Work Values come second, and Organizational Culture the lowest one.
5. Organizational Culture has positive influence over Trust Relationships.
6. Organizational Culture has positive impact on Work Values.
7. Trust Relationships has positive influence over Work Values.
Finally, the study not only provides recommendations to coast guard based on empirical findings but also serves as a reference for those who are interested in the similar topic.
