The Ergonomic Evaluation of Fishing Posture / 釣魚姿勢之人因評估

碩士 / 聖約翰科技大學 / 工業工程與管理系碩士班 / 102 / Taiwan is an island country surrounded by sea. Hence, fishing is not only a skill for surviving but also becomes a well-known popular leisure activity. With the development of fishing activities in Taiwan, domestic research about fishing is relatively few. This study will provide a more appropriate fishing posture through an ergological viewpoint. This study aim to find the most suitable posture for throwing the fishing rod in the most labor-saving, far-distance and accurate way. We had designed a closed questionnaire before we started the experiments. After recovering these questionnaires, we used SPSS statistic software to analyze. Then, we designed our experiments based on the result of these questionnaires. This experiment asked subjects use three ways to throw the fishing rod (over-head, over-shoulder and sidearm) with two standing posture (parallel-feet and forward lunge standing) by using two different fishing rod (glass and carbon fiber). Simultaneously, the voltage change of biceps, triceps brachii and trapezius muscle will be measured by EMG electromyography. The distance of throwing was also measured. The result that is statistically significant difference suggested that the most labor-saving way is to throw the fiberglass fishing rod overhead with parallel-feet standing. This way could also reduce the muscle injury. The most far-away-distance throwing could be achieved by throwing the carbon fiber fishing rod over shoulder with forward lunge standing. This could increase the efficiency of throwing. Throwing that are both labor-saving and accurate could happen when people throw the fiberglass or carbon fiber fishing rod over shoulder with forward lunge standing. The most accurate throwing happens when people throw the carbon fiber fishing rod overhead with parallel-feet standing or forward lunge standing. This way could increase the throwing accuracy rate.
