碩士 / 樹德科技大學 / 應用設計研究所 / 102 / The trend of fashion usually cycles repeatedly, and it never stops creating new technologies and new aesthetics. On the development of the creative design, we usually use the changes in history and cultures as the bases to do the research. In order to seek new ideas of design, we also look back to the styles in the early days. Nowadays people like to use dolls to do the innovative experimental design for overall style, and some even stretch to and combine the other fields, such as media, community cultures, fashion arts, cultural and creative industries, and educations to create more diverse works.
To the art designers who pay attention on the beauty and image, they can have more space to exert their ideas and imagination on the creation of overall style, such as hair style, apparel、make u, painting、accessories.
Shanghai in 1930s was the most prosperous international big city in East Asia. During that time, the apparels of females were deeply influenced by western cultures. This research has two parts which are the literature discussing & practical creation.
The first part is to explore and understand the following:
1. The impact of Feminism movement in May Fourth Movement to the traditional thinking and apparels owned and dressed by the females at that time.
2. Chinese social thinking in 1930s
3. The fashion of hair style and cheongsam style of Shanghai, China in 1930s
4. To explore the overall style of the dolls in various countries.
5. To explore the development of Taiwanese toy products
The second part is practical creation.
1. 1930 Shanghai hairstyles makeup, discuss the results based on the cheongsam elements with modern styling elements of pop and fusion designs.
2. To use 「Shi-Han」doll as the element to undergo the overall style design.
3. Dressing style plan with three series, six modeling performance were elegant, romantic avant-garde, trendy retro elegant intellectual overall shape.
4. To use piture taken as a way to elaborate the processes of creation.
5. The combination with the work and local culture.
