The Relationship of Recreational Diving on Activities Cognition , Leisure Constraints and Participation Intention-Swimming Ability as the Moderating Variables / 休閒潛水活動認知、休閒阻礙與參與意願之關係~以游泳能力為調節變項

碩士 / 南台科技大學 / 休閒事業管理系 / 102 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of different swimming ability , activities cognition clusters and leisure constraints clusters on the recreational diving activities cognition, leisure constraints and participation intention. And further, using swimming ability as the moderating variables and activities cognition as the mediating variables to investigate the relationship of recreational diving activities cognition , leisure constraints and participation intention. The sample of the study mainly consisted of 394 participants (male students 196, female students 198) who are the department of leisure and sport-related students. Research instruments included questionnaires towards activities cognition, leisure constraints and participation intention. According to the need, descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, cluster analysis, multiple stepwise regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and interaction regression analysis were adopted in this study. The findings were concluded as the following:1. Female students in the activities skills and eco-conservation factor of recreational diving activities cognition and the psychological fear factor of leisure constraints were significantly higher than male students. 2.There was a mutual influence among recreational diving activities cognition , leisure constraints and participation intention. 3. The three different clustered students of recreational diving activities cognition were not significant difference in the factor of recreational diving leisure constraints and participation intention. 4. The recommended will of high leisure constraints cluster was significantly higher than the low leisure constraints cluster. 5. The recreational diving activities cognition played as a mediator between the environment-economy factor of leisure constraints and recommended will. 6. The swimming ability had a significant moderating effect among recreational diving activities cognition, leisure constraints and participation intention.According to the results, this study shall make practical suggestion to school curriculum as well as subsequent researchers.
