Study Tour in Taiwan is become increasingly popular, but currently most researches for study tour are to explore consumer behavior, English learning attitude, English learning effectiveness. Very few studies explore students' self-health management from a medical tourism perspective. In fact, when the tour students live in a foreign land, health problems are very worthy of attention, especially in terms of infectious diseases. If ones can equip students with the knowledge of infectious diseases, improve health awareness, and promote healthy attitudes and behaviors, they can improve students' self-health management and travel study tour trip safety.
Thus, this study analyzes whether the students' knowledge of infectious diseases and travel health belief model have an effect for self-health management behavior. The health belief model was served as research base in this study. The importance - performance analysis was applied to analyze students’ cognition for the threat of Infectious Diseases, and to found out the infectious disease prevention behaviors before and after.The subject was 302 students who had experienced a study tour oversea. The data analysis methods include descriptive statistics analysis and IPA analysis, and they intended to explore whether the effect of self-threatening had an impact on study tour students’ self-health management behaviors. The results of this study hoped to benefit the infectious disease prevention profession.
