碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 營建工程系 / 102 / In recent years, many industrial parks constantly developed in Taiwan due to changes in the industrial structure, industrial upgrading and the rise of high-tech, resulting in many industrial parks of land affected by the changes of economic structure and surrounding environmental who were abandoned and deserted, and produced idle condition. Changhua Coastal Industrial Park is projected to developed into a comprehensive industrial park of high quality, to enhance the level of domestic industry both industrial production, research and development, reside and recreation, is one of the largest industrial park in Taiwan, but it is also the largest idle area industrial park.
In this study, a literature analysis,to understand the current use status of Taiwan's industrial park lands and Changhua Coastal Industrial Park land, then use Case Study analysis to understand the current development situation, investigate the factors of their land idle in Changhua Coastal Industrial Park, and through the SWOT analysis and expert questionnaires to proposed development patterns’ positioning direction, in accordance with the needs and trends of the overall development of the city, and through interviews with experts to measure the future direction for further development of its industrial park.
Industrial parks’ idle lands often impact for urban development, but it also provides opportunity for urban transformation. Changhua Coastal Industrial Park has the largest hinterland in Taiwan, it has a certain impact on urban industry, if they can be effectively combined with local cultural industries, thus achieving the upgrading of urban development, but also provide opportunities for urban transformation.
