A Study on Tourism Attraction, Visitor’s Satisfaction and Revisit Intentions in Tamsui fisherman's Wharf / 淡水漁人碼頭的觀光吸引力、遊客滿意度及重遊意願之相關研究

碩士 / 中華科技大學 / 航空運輸研究所 / 103 / According to Tourism Bureau statistics, Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf is a one of popular tourist attraction, which in north Taiwan among all the scenic area visitor numbers on top, its visitors count of 3,444,458 passengers to in 2014. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the relationships between the levels of tourism attractiveness, tourist satisfaction and the revisiting intentions of visitors at the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf. The methodology for this research is based upon a convenience sampling of surveys, distributed in the form of questionnaires. The data obtained 420 questionnaires were collected , the response rate for this survey was 93% at Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf on Jan. 17 to Jan. 18, 2015. SPSS was applied to reveal results of descriptive statistic, as well as independent-sample t -test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation were used for the data analysis.
The results showed that: Enjoying the riverbank landscape is the most popular attraction for the tourists in Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf. As well as, the parking lots and the design of tourist route are the visitors most satisfied with. Moreover, the most of the visitors are willing to revisit again next time. The findings showed that tourism attraction had positive influences on visitor’s satisfaction, and the tourist’s are willing to revisit Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf. From the above findings, it has been established that there is a positive correlation between tourism attractiveness and visitor’s satisfaction, visitor’s satisfaction and revisiting intentions , and lastly, tourism attractiveness and revisiting intentions . Therefore, this means that an increase in the level of tourism attractiveness will result in an increase in the degree of visitor’s satisfaction; a higher level of visitor’s satisfaction results in a higher level of revisiting intentions; and an increase in the level of tourism attractiveness consequently results in a increase in the extent of revisiting intentions. Through this study, it is expected not only to give planning and management related departments of Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf as a reference of implement public infrastructure maintenance and improvement, and follow-up studies for reference.
