The government also actively encouraged global configuration to accelerate financial internationalization. This study aimed to discuss the effect of global layout on operating performance in Taiwan local bank industry. Thomas (1986) proposed CAMEL index to measure operating performance, and we collected 3466 samples from January 2006 to October 2014 in 34 Taiwan local banks. Using Panel Data analysis method to do quantitative analysis. The virtual variables define the layout of the amount of overseas banks and whether has overseas institutions to explore the impact on overall business performance. In this way, the research could verify the effect of global layout on discharge rate, operating expenses, capital adequacy ratio and asset remuneration rate.
