碩士 / 銘傳大學 / 經濟學系碩士班 / 103 / In this paper, the sample data of Taiwanese manufacturing vendors from the National Science Council’s 2010 Taiwanese Technological Innovation Survey was adopted for the correlation analysis of overseas operational behaviors and innovation performance. After obtaining estimates using the propensity score matching method, it was found that Taiwanese manufacturing vendors possess different determining factor combinations in different regional operations overseas. The reason is that the local market characteristics have to be met, while taking into account vendors’ own technologies and production characteristics. In addition, it was also found that vendors with overseas operational behaviors can indeed enhance product innovation, while increasing the likelihood of three categories of innovation formation, including products and processes. However, the probability of innovation formation may vary based on the differed operation locations.
