Feasibility Study of Helicopter Operating Procedures on Ship Platforms / 艦載直昇機組合作業可行性研究

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 航空太空工程學系碩士在職專班 / 103 / For various requirements of governmental and military operations, helicopter ship board landing operation has been made for nearly 40 years of working experience. In recent years, with increasing numbers and types of new ships and helicopters coming in service, implementation of two different platforms in real operation has confronted with lack of an institute or system that can integrate helicopter and ship board operations, and for further testing, developing operation manuals and certifying different degrees of qualifications of the equipment.
Based on this requirement, this thesis focuses on reviewing the existing international and domestic laws and regulations of flight operation, and proposes a system configuration and operating method of integrated helicopter shipboard operations. This thesis will discuss the possibility of combining new ships and helicopters for future shipboard operation by visiting current operational facilities and conducting in-depth interviews with personnel who have expertise in the field of research and experimental development. With the study support, this thesis will conclude and propose a suggestion for the future shipboard operations on organizations, laws and task execution, and set short-, mid-, and long-term goals as guidelines for future shipboard operations of new generation of ships and helicopters for the R.O.C. government.
