碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 資訊工程學系研究所 / 103 / Intelligent transportation system (ITS) is the use advanced information, control, communications, vehicles and machinery and other technologies in a variety of transportation systems, to improve transport capacity, to make the limited transportation resources to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. In the automatic navigation, the shortest path is an important issue. However, General algorithm to calculate the shortest path when not taking into consideration the actual traffic, this paper presents the method that using Artificial Bee Colony algorithm to improve the real-time traffic automatic navigation. There are two algorithms are proposed for travel time prediction: the ABC and Dijkstra-based model. Simulation result for roads in Taiwan show that the method proposed can help to avoid the traffic congestion.
