Study on Relationship among the Personality, Working Pressure, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment for the Maneuvering Officials of Coast Guard Administration / 海巡機關機動查緝人員人格特質、工作壓力、工作滿意與組織承諾間關係之研究

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 漁業生產與管理研究所 / 103 / This study was aimed to investigate the relationships for personality traits, job stress, and job satisfaction with the organizational promise of Coast Guard Investigative Team and then make relevant suggestions.
In this study, 20 teams belonged to the Coast Guard Investigative agencies were exampled for this study from June 2013 to August 2013, and issued a total of 396 questionnaires with 300 valid questionnaires. The effective rate is 75%. Data analysis methods include: general descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, reliability and validity analysis, ANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation models (SEM). The results are shown as follows:
1. Coast Guard personnel reaches the agreement level for "commitment to the organization" item which it represents higher than an ordinary degree to this item , and assure their work. Meanwhile feeling the pressure of work is in "acceptable" level while job satisfaction achieves "agreement" level. About the personality traits, 38% ~ 45% people belong to the internal model or a Type A personality tendencies.
2. Personnel with different work backgrounds have significant differences attitudes among personality traits, job stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
3. Personality traits has significant positive correlation to either job satisfaction or organizational commitment while it has significant negative correlation to the working pressure. The working pressure has significant negative correlation to job satisfaction, but has a positive correlation to organizational commitment.
4. In terms of job satisfaction to personality traits, working pressure, and organizational commitment as mediator for finding out the relationships among them is established while using work stress as mediator to investigate the relationship between personality traits and organizational commitment is not established.
5. The results suggest that the authorities should:establish a standard personality test mechanisms to enhance the professional skills; build organizational style and pay attention on grassroots values and for personal aspects should: participate in learning opportunities actively; strengthen the value of positive thinking.
