A Study on the Gender Issue in Zhang You-Yu’s “Hey, the One in he Skirt” / 張友漁《喂,穿裙子的!》性別議題研究

碩士 / 國立臺南大學 / 國語文學系國語文教學碩士班 / 103 / This study is based on Zhang You-Yu’s “Hey, the One in the Skirt” as the text research to discuss the competence index of gender equity education of the Ministry of Education. Teenagers are in the transition from children to adults, which is an important phase of their growth. The story is close to the growth and life of teenagers, which is about the gender issues in school, family and daily life that a fourteen-year-old girl, Liang-Jun, has faced.
The study applies the research methods of Text Analysis and Thematic Analysis. Chapter One discusses the importance of reading education and gender study, explains the research motivation and objectives, discusses related documents, and then states the research method. Chapter Two introduces the author’s background, works, award-winning records, writing characteristics, experience, and the story background of “Hey, the One in the Skirt”. Chapter Three discusses gender self-knowledge, including physical and mental development, gender identity, and criticizing social construction, which is the key point that this study analyzes and clarifies. In addition, in terms of gender differences, it is hoped to distinguish the performance of innate differences and social stereotypes on gender roles, including a discussion on the psychological traits of masculinization and feminization. Chapter Four discusses the self-other relationships of gender, including gender roles, gender interactions, gender and affection, and sex and power; it points out the roles that gender plays in self-development and discusses the relationships between gender development and social cultural interaction.
Chapter Five analyzes the writing skills and probes into the characterization of “Hey, the One in the Skirt”. Chapter Six, conclusion, concludes the research done by the study and summarizes the text characteristics.
