碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 103 / Sewage piping system is one of infrastructures of modern city. In recent years, it is an important index to evaluate the administration performance of a city. Executive Yuan of ROC has listed the sewage piping construction as the sewerage sub-program of "water and green construction", which was executed by the Construction and Planning Agency. Sewage pipe network construction schedule often affects by the complex underground pipeline and other obstacles if not carefully be managed during planning stage.
The research mainly aims to investigate the causes of delay schedule of sewage construction project and to propose proper methods to solve the problem through literature review and case study. The results show that the major causes of project schedule delays of sewer construction are the encountered underground obstacles and tenants illegally-built structures which would increase work period to relocate the pipeline and to negotiate and demolite the illegally-built structures. It was suggested by this study to urge the planners to make sound survey on the site of construction area and locate the proper sewage pipeline. In addition, the city government should help to solve the illegally-built structure problem according the building code or regulations before construction begins.
