碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋法律研究所 / 103 / The purpose of this thesis for risk management reason, cargo owner usually take by way of marine insurance to cover losses. The main material for reference in this study is as well as the 1906 Marine Insurance Act in the United Kingdom. This study is aimed to link and compare regulations of Marine insurance between Taiwan and Chinese Mainland to investigate the difference. The study discuss and analyze the principles of sue and labor charge between Taiwan and China Mainland.Abandonment is one of the unique rules in marine insurance laws. Based on this study, revision of Taiwan and China Mainland’s marine insurance is suggested to accord with current international conventions and fit global requirements.
