Sharing Experience of Teaching Overseas: A Case at Tuan Yuan Taiwan School in China / 一位海外臺灣學校教師教學經驗之個案研究: 以大陸團緣臺校為例

碩士 / 國立臺北教育大學 / 課程與教學研究所 / 103 / In this study, a female teacher at the overseas Taiwan school for 10 years, organizations understand the school environment, life and work experience, her team development and teaching special courses and activities abroad, and the observations of teaching, life and work across cultures, with cases of teachers for their inspiration and reflection, given to the units and other teachers suggested.This study adopted case study, with interviews, collection and analysis of relevant documents, summed up the following conclusions:
1.Tuan Yuan Taiwan school is both a family, school and social education function of institutions, teachers and students’ turnover is the biggest challenge. Improving the school environment and the whole organization system make overseas teaching job more secure.
2.Work and life in early overseas Taiwan schools faced the changing of circumstances and work patterns, need some time to adapt. Not only to help children adapt to school, also face a polarized attitude from the parents. The adaptation process colleagues as family-like friendship is her biggest pillar.
3.Case teacher lead the teachers to develop the curriculum combination of school-based character education and camp, led students to exchanges in Singapore, expand international perspective and multicultural
learning.Teaching activities by Jing Si aphorisms to cultivate students’ character.
4.From the experience of four places in lesson observation seen the progressive teaching in China. Differences in cross-strait customs life, let Taiwanese teachers have concerns; school staff background pluralism, mostly because of potential system should centripetal force to unite groups on administration.
5.During this period of staying overseas Taiwan schools, made her even more focus on assisting students in academic difficulty,and has a new sort of understanding of "comprehensive care"on education; administrative experience makes her more receptive to change, and actively to face all kinds of difficulties and challenges.
6.Teachers should cultivate "Global Mobile", "diverse teaching methods", "parents and teachers to communicate," "pro-active learning", "global vision" five capabilities.
