碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 工程科學及海洋工程學研究所 / 103 / The purpose of the study is to develop a submarine maneuvering motion simulation tool. In this study, the modular modeling methodology which has been developed before at my Lab is applied and extended to include the ballast and trimming tanks for descent and ascent maneuvers. Namely, the hydrodynamic forces model of fuselage, sail, bow planes, stern planes, rudder, propeller, ballast and trimming tanks are treated as an individual component, and their interactions are described by another terms with clear physical meaning.
Based on the collectable data of a submarine, a simulated submarine configuration is generated for testing the mathematical model and simulation tool developed in the present study. The hydrodynamic coefficients of the simulated submarine configuration are calculated by CFD software of ANSYS-FLUENT.
Submarine maneuvering motion simulations are carried out by solving a coupled nonlinear 6-D equations of motions time step by step. It is confirmed that all the simulations of steady forward propulsion, descent and ascent maneuvers, steady turning on horizontal plan, pull-out test for checking the directional stability show reasonable results. We finally concluded that the mathematical model and simulation program system developed in the present study can be expected to be an effective tool for simulating an underwater platform of submarine in the training of anti-submarine operations.
