碩士 / 國立臺灣藝術大學 / 廣播電視學系碩士班廣播電視組 / 103 / Taiwan's film industry is slowly recovering after the movie "Cape No.7" release in 2008. But the development of Chinese film industry is even more prosperous. In 2010, Taiwan signed the "Cross-Straits Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement" (ECFA) with China. Taiwan's film to enter the Chinese market was not limit with quota restrictions anymore.Taiwan's film try to enter the Chinese market in recent years but few success.In 2004, Hong Kong signed the "Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement" (CEPA) with China. Hong Kong film to enter the Chinese market was not limit with quota restrictions anymore. They have good performance in China now. Maybe we can reference theirs development model.
In order to study out a kind of Blue Ocean Strategy to let the Chinese market acceptance our film, this paper would like to explore these issues: 1.Chinese audience's preferences on movies. 2. What is the achievement of Taiwan's film to enter the Chinese market? 3. The changes of the Hong Kong film industry after to enter the Chinese market. 4. The Strategy of the Hong Kong film that survive in the Chinese market.
This paper used the Secondary Research Approach and the Documental Analysis Approach. The key data come from "http://www.cbooo.cn/".
This study found that phenomena. Hong Kong films dominate the Chinese film market. But staffs are serious aging. According to the example of Hong Kong, Taiwan filmmakers need to use what kind of Blue Ocean Strategy to let the Chinese market acceptance our film? 1. Increase more different type of movie subjects. 2. Strengthen commercial elements of movie content. 3. Encourages non-governmental company to join into film industry. 4. Try to get favorable impression of Taiwan local consumers. 5. Enhance training efficiency of new Movie Stars. 6. Reduce dependence on government film grant. 7. Combine with the Taiwan TV drama program and the Taiwan Pop music industry to create synergy.
