碩士 / 國立臺灣藝術大學 / 視覺傳達設計學系 / 103 / In recent years a considerable effort has been made by the government to encourage cultural and creative industries. Resources have been provided to identify the characteristics of traditional culture in different parts of Taiwan in order to promote the culture and various types of tourism. The manufacture and marketing of local goods will provide employment opportunities and create wealth.The multicultural Miaoli area (the most developed in the border areas),which has rich natural resources and has retained many traditional crafts, under the auspices of the Council for Hakka affairs and the Miaoli County government, is actively promoting local festivals. The 12 Hakka Festival has been recognised as 'one of the top five items of excellence'.This paper will use the Miaoli local festivals as the subject for the creation of an artistic paper poster. First, the relevant literature on the cultural aspects and creative crafts/industries will be explored, prior to using the information and creative artistic ideas as a basis of a poster. In addition, the case analysis method will be used to analyse the various types of poster art and design styles, which will be used to create a series of posters for the Miaoli local festivals.
