碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 企業管理系 / 103 / With the increasing investment in foreign countries, and the threats of the global competitions, the expansions of financial services in overseas markets are in urgent demand. The training needs for financial professionals needs to be examined to better enhance the future productivity and profits.
Adopting a case study method, the current research investigated the training needs for the financial professionals in Taiwan banking industry. Eleven managers who are currently expatriated in overseas branches were selected as interviewees. Using open-ended questionnaire and in-depth interview were conducted. Training needs and designs were identified. Discussions and suggestions are provided at the end.
