碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 設計研究所 / 103 / The aim of this study is to investigate how bicycle accessories are developed based on the understanding of users’ need. This investigation divides the usage of bicycles into two categories which are the usage of bicycle manufacturer and bicycle riders. Drawing from user observation methodologies, design thinking and synthesis we observed bicycle rider and bicycle manufacturer in Taiwan. Design insights in this investigation and related literature survey were organized to propose design guidelines for the development of bicycle accessories. Three prototypes are realized based on the finding in the design insights.
