A Study on Management Shopping Malls –Shanghai Shopping Malls as example / 購物中心設計管理之研究-以上海購物中心為例

碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 工業設計系創新設計碩士班(碩士在職專班) / 103 / With real estate booming in China, the business environment has also come to rapid growth, especially more developments focused on Shanghai area, which is also due to the creative design and systematic industrialization. The design and management have been taken seriously and quickly development of pace in China. Without enough experiences in shopping center management operations, time limits also adversely affect the design results, so more requirement among the development, design, and management need to strike a balance. Through the case study of shopping center design and management practices in this thesis, to realize how design managers copping with the current situation.
The study found that the most important factors in the design phase induction affect management as the followings ,
(1) Delegate the designers with sufficient design capability and experience;
(2) The in-depth knowledge of the procedures and regulations of shopping mall industry from the mall owner planners
(3) The compatibility among third-party manufacturers, design institutes and construction team;
(4) Avoid frequent changes and volatile decision;
(5) The staffs from various fields with complementary expertise forming professional team.
This thesis is expected to help the design and management of shopping mall in China for the future.
