A Dynamic Routing Algorithm Based on Hybrid Wi-Fi/BLE Indoor Navigation System / 基於混合式Wi-Fi/BLE室內導覽系統之動態路線推薦

碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 電子工程系研究所 / 103 / In recent years, with the popularity of Wi-Fi technology, in art galleries, museums and other exhibition spaces, the indoor navigation system based on the Receive Signal Strength (RSS) has an initial product come out. The problem of dead space on wireless signal in the navigation area cannot be completely solved by RSS pattern matching as fingerprint, since some places still have low coverage of signal.
That is, the recommended path cannot dynamic adjust according to changes in the flow of crowd. Thus it reduces the effectiveness of moving lines recommended. This paper proposed a dynamic path recommended method on combining Wi-Fi and RSS pattern matching with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors indoor navigation system (HWBDRA). Through the interior compartment and spatial design to divide the navigation blocks, then the weights of blocks are based on each block with different crowd flow to recommend the navigation path.
Morever, selecting the key blocks at the entrance of each floor and high value exhibitions, we could build a complete moving line by partial local routing construction, through the nodal architecture of key blocks. We could also generate dynamic recommended paths following the changes of crowd flow. Our strategy could provide users the visiting paths having sparse crowds and without missing important exhibitions.
From the simulation results, the proposed HWBDRA was compared to D2PA, LRPA and PIRA strategies, in an average visiting rate, HWBDRA got about 14% better than other three strategies. In the average staying time, about 19% better than other three; in the cumulative distribution function of the coverage of recommended route, about 25% better than other three. As the above, HWBDRA increases the block visiting rate from outside visitors, reduces the amount of system computation, and is more suitable for the requirement of indoor navigation service on smart phones.
