碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 經營管理系碩士班 / 103 / This study addresses supply chain management models with quantity discounts and truckload shipping. In the past, supply chain management generally does not consider relationship between quantity and price, nor the effect of truckload shipping of the supply chain. Therefore, this study constructs a more realistic supply chain management model with quantity discount and truckload shipping.
The formulated supply chain management model is a nonlinear programming problem. This study utilizes deterministic optimization techniques and an efficient linearization method to transform the nonlinear model into a linear model for finding a global solution. And then the relationship between truck capacity and total cost is further analyzed and compared. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed method..
