碩士 / 國立臺北科技大學 / 製造科技研究所 / 103 / In recent decades, the world has been encountered issues such as energy prices rising and global warming as we’ve all known. To solve the problems, consensus among countries on energy saving, carbon reduction, and renewable energy development must be reached. Thus, the purpose of this study is to find the trend of offshore wind power development, to evaluate the offshore wind power industry in Taiwan in comparison with other advance countries, and to develop a patent strategy suitable for Taiwan based on previous findings. In order to reach the goals, the first step of this study is to search the key patents in offshore wind power industry using IPC and keywords. The second step is to identify the leading countries in offshore wind power technology by revealed patent advantages (RPAs). Finally, the performances of the related patents are evaluated using Taguchi method and self-organizing feature maps (SOM) together. From the results, this study conclude advance wind power technology of each country and then give recommendation for Taiwan.
