The adoption of remote monitoring and control would benefit the effectiveness of resources and job. For mass transportation system, the life duty of instrument would be reduced due to wearance. The complexity of interactivebess among elements cause inspection difficulty during naintenance. In this study, the maximum operating currents of 5 switching machines during a year are under evulation. The experimental results indicate that all of thrie average operating currents are within the normal values. The failed switch machines easily cause alarm and misjudgement due to high average operating currents and noise. The system error rate is still acceptable. However, the fault detection and tolerance capability need to be improved. Therfore, the presented remoting monitoring and control system benefits the stability of turnout system and reduces the labor cost.
