After an inner imagination - no longer a pair of sneaker shoes / 內在想像之後:不再只是一雙帆布鞋

碩士 / 國立臺北藝術大學 / 美術學系碩士在職專班 / 103 / Art works always possess powerful energy no matter which time of period they are in. This power always drives darkness towards brightness and sheds a light of life into decay. Artists have always been in the front line rewriting history and creating the world they feel. Their creative capability and perspectives in seeing the world can all be felt from reading their works. Their works spell out the past experienced in human history, interpret the external world that people experience and feel, create a new starting point for thoughts while allowing the maximum content for people’s minds.
Attempting to create emotional interaction with audience from the presentation of works and exploring self-internal status through the tracks of motion have always been my core concepts of creation. Major scope for the following discussion lies in the reorganization and review over my works in recent years. They will serve as discussions and reflections for theories.
There are three focal points for discussion: (1). What is the manifestation of my creation? What kind of chemical reaction has been generated in my perception system from the exploration of artist’s works and childhood experiences? (2). Capture moments of life through intuitive perception experience and search for topics which can be depicted. Further exploration of a deeper self through further feedback drawn from pictures and generate, as a result, self-healing function; (3). Through the depiction of a pair of shoes, identify if symbolic meaning granted by topic does provide a feasible way. Lastly, it is hoped that self-position and value can be found through exploration of works.
