Qualitative Research on Pilot Implement of the Newly Revised Curriculum Guidelines for Students with Special Needs by Special Education Teachers in New Taipei City / 新北市國小特教班教師實施試辦新修訂特殊教育課程大綱之研究

碩士 / 臺北市立大學 / 特殊教育學系身心障礙教育教學碩士學位班 / 103 / The purpose of this study was to understand the situations and demands of implying the Newly Revised Curriculum Guidelines for Students with Special Needs (NRCGSSN) by senior special education teachers, and to share their experiences with other special education teachers. The method used in this study was semi-structured interview. The interviewees were senior elementary special education teachers and did not participate in partially pilot implement of the NRCGSSN in New Taipei City during 2011 and 2012 academic year.
In participating in comprehensive implement of the NRCGSSN, most of the interviewees’ practices were in line with the requirements of it. However, some of thir practicces did not meet the requirements of NRCGSSN, including: arranging courses, selecting student’s capacity index and scheduling order of paperworks. The assistances they needed for implementing the NRCGSSN were: to be provided more professional workshops, to be assisting in administation works, and to be provided certaint requirements of the NRCGSSN. Furthermore, they gave advices to other special education teachers: to think positively, to refer to practices of other teachers, and to participate in all types of workshops.
