碩士 / 真理大學 / 宗教文化與組織管理學系碩士班 / 104 / Unification Church originated from South Korea. Ms. ふくだ のぶこ (ie Ms. Korean Japanese fukuda nobuko ) was the first missionary sent to Taiwan. She started from north of Taiwan to go to campus and do witnessing. It has been 49 years.Underwent the prohibited period for 15 years, Church finally had explosive development after lifted by goverment in 1990. There are thirty thousand pairs blessed couples in 1992 and three hundred sixty thousand pairs blessed couples in 1995 worldwide. In Taiwan there are more than one thousand people received the blessing. Starting with the analysis of articles to research the situation of Unification Church missionary in Taiwan, and the blessing doctrine basis of marriage. Through the observation and in-depth interviews of the whole process of marriage blessing ceremony, we could understand the impact of the inner meaning of the ceremony for these members of unification Church. Finally, after they enter the marriage, how were their marriage situation, their interactions and how they effect their friends and society.
This study adopted qualitative research to semi-structured in-depth interviews and participant observation, collecting information. According to the information collected and the results of interviews, summarized in the following conclusions:
1.Unification Church marriage blessing has a "redemptive" positive values.
2.Unification Church marriage blessing embodiment is a belief that the identity of believers.
3.Unification Church marriage blessing itself practice the premarital, marriage education function.
4.Unification Church marriage blessing tepromote family precious social values to reduce the divorce rate.
5.Unification Church marriage blessing advocate the concept of one family under world.
