碩士 / 國立中正大學 / 戰略暨國際事務研究所 / 104 / The rise of Chinese power in East Asia is an undeniable fact that in this trend , changes the power structure in East Asia, and the Asia-Pacific power structure transfer on country actors in the region between the United States and , Japan, China , this article attempts by East China sea Diaoyutai dispute case , to analyze the structure and China raises and the Asia-Pacific region competing relations between countries , and “Structural realism” and “Hegemonic stability theory” as the main theoretical framework of this study
China raises after the cold war, the one of the most obvious change among international status. Along with the economic rise, the military and diplomatic made dramatic influence to Asia and even global. Since China’s economic reformation, most popular subject will be discussing the global influence from China economy to the world, the other subject will be the international political structure variance. “Hegemonic stability theory” has always been one of the most important theory for international conflict, cooperation and order to scholars’ international relationship study. After nearly 40 years , IPE has evolved and expanded to the political and security fields , the paper non- traditional IPE international finance, international monetary , trade and economic point of view to explore , but to international security concept to be addressed after the IPE evolution and structure for hegemony.
In this paper, structural realism views Kenneth Waltz of the theoretical basis and the use of “Hegemonic stability theory” after IPE evolution focuses on international security concept , country as the basic unit of analysis to observe the region international architecture , to be through literature review , content analysis appropriate research methods , historical comparative method to study Chinese military , economic and diplomatic development , and then analyze and discuss the impact of China's rise on the existing Asia-Pacific region international order China rising threats to US hegemony , but also Japanese, Diao-Yu-Tai Island Disputes , for example, restrict by the structure of realism , because the structure of international relations constraints, analyze the current international order in the region , development and stability of the relevant hegemonic trends, interactive future development of US relations in this area , the two countries still being posed by international mutual restraint structure to Taiwan last hope in the Asia-Pacific regional policy can provide different insights and practical advice.
