Currently Taiwan's biotechnology industry conventional international exhibition industry market reach, and thus make the product commercialization, the export market increased by more industrial scale.2008 high financial leverage to manipulate financial derivative instruments linked debt of Lehman Brothers declared bankruptcy, causing the global financial crisis, many industries have been closed down, and be involved not only a single industry. Since the Department of biotechnology industry is a high capital investment industry, so this study hope that 2008 as the criterion for the efficiency of the performance of biotech biotechnology explore whether produced by the financial tsunami impact the efficiency of performance drop.Whether pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, measuring instruments, etc. or life information needs of new product development laboratory research equipment, etc. and even investment in fixed assets, personnel and research and development staff of the finished product compared with other sectors to high, so this paper data envelopment analysis France discusses efficiency and to research and development expenses and fixed assets as investment items, and net sales revenue as output, in order to discuss through 2008 as the cut-off efficiency biotech industry's performance is subject to the financial tsunami.
