碩士 / 長榮大學 / 高階管理碩士在職專班(EMBA) / 104 / Leadership has always been emphasized in human society, no to mention in the military. The success of war field is relied on leading style and technique of the higher authority, to achieve the goals and mission set and expected by the whole country.
The main focus of this research is to discuss the influence of patriarchal leadership in the logistic unit in air force on organizational commitment and to verify the intervening effect of trust through exploring the relationships among leading style, trust and organizational commitment, with patriarchal leadership considered.
This research took air force warehouse as research subject, through understanding the identifying level of interviewees through Likert 5 point scale, followed by descriptive statistics, validity, reliability, factor and regression analysis with SPSS 22.0, results are shown as follows:
1.Discussing over whether adopting patriarchal leadership in air force warehouse cause positive or negative influence on trust of members or organizational commitment.
2.As the members hold higher level trust toward the force, then they have higher commitment and satisfaction over allocated duties, that is, if the leaders hold no trust toward the organization, the crew led by them will follow and have low organizational commitment and work satisfaction.
The current leading style in army is no longer authoritarian leadership, rather, the compassionate and caring leading style may enhance commitment from the crew and effectively improve their performance.
