碩士 / 正修科技大學 / 休閒與運動管理所 / 104 / The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among travel motivation, decision making, perceived risks and travel intention toward overseas independent travelers. The participants are teachers in Tainan. The valid survey questionnaires with random sampling are 476 in total. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, item analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 19.0. The result shows travel motivation variable including personal development, culture-learning and adventure motivation all have significant positive influence with decision making and travel intention. Perceived risks has significant positive influence with adventure but not personal development and culture-learning motivation. The facility, motivation and social life in decision making variable have significant positive influence with perceived risks. Culture-learning motivation, facility and social risk are the most essential elements that affect travel intention.
