Livestock industry has played a very important role in Taiwan in the past. However, the in-dustry suffered a great damage to export overseas withan infectious disease of foot-and-mouth diseases in 1997. Afer that, Taiwan join in the WTO in 2001; and a great competitive in this in-dustry has occered. Besides, the cost of the operation was expensive, environment protection regulations in Taiwan getting also stricter. Therefore, the negative factors affect the industry de-velopment. We should adopt some policies to face the problems, such as enterprenature operation, large scale business, professional management and informantion management system, and even with total production management of the industry.
We collect some information and data according to the research background and intention, and then we check a serious message with reference about the relative variables. Thirdly, we have an advanced interview with four various professional managers of the company to identify the key factors of the operational effects by TPM.
Finally, we wish we can provide a well policy and directiona of the livestock industry in Taiwan, which adopt TPM thoughs and displines for fullfil the operational effects of livestock compaies. And our suggestions are enchance the advantages of operation and marketing, improve the employee’s abilities, strength the management of a compay, reduce the cost of the operation.
After interviewing, we illustrate some important criteras as major factors, including disease prevention,breed management, an antibody supervisory control, a gene selection, hygiene anti-body; and the other factors are environment equipments, feeding stuffs, educational training, a disinfect policy, routine expelling parasite.
