碩士 / 正修科技大學 / 機電工程研究所 / 104 / The object of this thesis is to study how to enhance the propulsive
force provided by a rotating propeller by avoiding tip vortex as well as to
lower the required torque force for operating the propeller. To this end,
each blade of the propeller has an outer edge connecting with a side board,
so as to avoid said tip vortex in operation. Furthermore, at least one
through hole penetrating the thickness of each blade is formed adjacent to
said outer edge for guiding the fluid on the high pressure side of the blade
to the low pressure side thereof, so that the required torque force that
could be raised due to the added side board is thus avoided. Therefore,
the propeller can be smoothly operated by a motor while operating
without tip vortex.
