碩士 / 修平科技大學 / 人力資源管理與發展碩士班 / 104 / Team leadership is a process for the team to take part and to create things together. During the process, the team leader is able to lead and to influence the team members in dealing with different situations. A team leader plays an important role to build teamwork and to organize, inspire and motivate team members.
This study examined the effect between leadership styles and motivation factors on team cohesion. The investigatd objects were 336 participants recruited from Guan Moo Tuan, including 9 team leaders, 18 group leaders, 27 counsellors, and 283 team members, who attended the Expatriate Youth Taiwan Study Tour in 2015. The participants were required to fill up a questionnaire. The questionnaire contains questions regarding to the influence of different situations in team cohesion, the style of leadership with the current situation of team cohesion, the perception of team cohesion via encouragement from different situation and different style of leadership.
The results were determined by statistical analysis. The data was collected based on questionnaire given. In order to investigate the effect of leadership style and motivation factors in team cohesion, analysis such as reliability and validity, descriptive statistical analysis, independent T-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation and regression were conducted. The result showed:
1. There were partial differences between the background variable and other variables in first and second investiogations.
2. There was a positive significant relationship between leadership style and team cohesion.
3. There was a positive significant relationship between leadership style and motivation factors.
4. There was a positive significant relationship between motivation factors and team cohesion.
5. Motivation factors were the mediator which affected in leadership style and team cooperation.
