It is characteristic that the island owns unique marine ecology and plain fishing villages.With the emphasis on recreational activities in society, people focus on physical and mental health.Being a localresident, I witnessed and experienced the activities in person.Then I interacted and talked with other people. Finally I collected and analyzed a substantial literature. I really hope that the recreational fishery of the southern coast can be put into perspective.
This thesis is composed of five characters. Chapter I makes the introductions. Chapter II introduces research methods and indicates research subjects and procedures. Chapter IIIprobes into an extensive literature by collecting related documents and also discusses the origin and development of recreational fishery. Chapter IV points out research results, the current situations of recreational fishery, a seashore worshiping ritual at Hou-hu, and future prospects for recreational fishery. Chapter V makes a conclusion and a suggestion.
The study aims to reach a consensus between the government and the residents. On the premise of a variety of recreational activities,we look forward to accelerating the development for fishing villages, promoting the welfare for fishermen, and sustaining the fishery operation.
