The Investigation of the Austinogebia edulis from Abandoned Salt Field in Budai / 布袋廢曬鹽田美食奧螻蛄蝦之調查與研究

碩士 / 崑山科技大學 / 環境工程研究所 / 104 / The Austinogebia edulis Ngo-Ho and Chan, 1992, also named "Luk-Kong mud-shrimp " is the aquatic delicacy for the inhabitants of Changhua Coastal since ancient times. However, due to the vandalism such as the changes of capture mode, the waterfront development and the establishment of industrial zones in recent years, the inhabitat environment for the coastal creatures has significantly reduced, leading A. edulis is about to disappear in Changhua. However, the traces of A. edulis are found from abandoned salt field and the ditches near fish farms in Chiayi Budai. Besides, the traces of Cloridopsis scorpio which few people study are also found. This research investigated the biologcal characteristics of the A. edulis from the abandoned salt field in Budai, We surveyed the quality of the habitat and ecological processes of the A. edulis so as to provide information on specific resource assessment and conservation. The results showed that maximal Cl (Carapace length) were 15.04 mm, and maximalBl (Body length) were 49.34 mm for the female ; the maximal Cl were 16.96 mm, and maximalBl were 52.04 mm for the male. The male showed sexualdimorphorismdue to have either big chela or small chela in adultindividuals. By comparison analysis, The Cl was curvilinearly correlated to Pwd (Propodus width) in both of the male with bigchela and small chela (stout : Pwd = 0.1601e0.2039Cl、slender : Pwd = 0.2812e0.1479Cl); The Cl was linearly correlated to Pwd in the female (Pwd = 0.1596Cl - 0.4019 ). In which, the correlation coefficient of the Clcorrelated to Pwd in the male with bigchela was higher than themale with small chela and female. The Cl was linearly correlated to Bl (Body length) in both of the male and female; The Cl was curvilinearly correlated to Bw (Body weight) in both of the male and female. In addition, the research found that Alpheidae, Cloridopsis scorpio and the A. edulis are total domain survival in the same cave. The average particle of quality bottom area lies between 63 μm - 4.75 mm, which is a part of more egalitarian environment with sediment partide size.
