碩士 / 明志科技大學 / 經營管理系碩士班 / 104 / The study is mainly to explore business model of merchant of Taiwan’s cultured hard clam industry. We use narrative inquiry method to interview three representative merchant of the industry and adopt four constructs including, customer value proposition, profit formula, key resources and key processes as references to describe business model of the merchant. After analyzing the inquiring data, the results show that the members of the industry build long term trust for each other and used informal contract to trade. The know-how owned by the merchant such as the ability of quality control and culture techniques come from doing by learning and as an apprentice learning from mentor. The effective collecting feedback data by customers enhance and promote the ability to satisfy needs of their customers.
