碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 土木工程學系 / 104 / Comparing to the offshore wind-farm environment in Europe and America, wind-farm at western costal area of Taiwan faces more complicated challenges, including typhoon and earthquake. The safety of turbine under extreme environment, and the suitability of the selection of wind-farm, are the two most important issues regarding the design of turbine foundation. Single-pile simulation software LPile was used in this study to analyze soil layers beneath the three turbines (turbine #1, turbine #2, and seascape observation tower) at the offshore of Fang-Yuan district, Changhua, Taiwan. The differences between identical wall thickness and different wall thickness was compared, and a simplified soil layer analysis was established using the thickness of clay layer 20m under surface. Moment, displacement, and angle of rotation were determined and compared with the original soil layer. The thickness with stable, or minimum, error percentage was then compared to the moment, displacement, and angle of rotation along the depth to determine the relationship between the two.
