碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 水生生物科學系研究所 / 104 / Based on collected documents and questionnaires results, we studied for these purposes to study how the aquaculture industry, national government, academic and research organizations should do to assist and guide farmers, and how the farmers should do to cooperate with the coherent units, together to improve the industry’s competitiveness of the present time, and also for its sustainable development is necessary.
The results show that Taiwan's chinese softshell turtle breeding areas in Pingtung County, the main export country is China, mainly export-fertilized turtle eggs. There are highly dependent on a single product market, and terms of volume and price will be subject to Chinese market demand the amount of influence.
According to the result of this study, we can conclude by SWOT analysis Five-Force Analysis for strategies as follows: (1) quality improvement of production, (2) implementing supply chain management, (3) building up communication of production and sales and marketing channel, (4) motivating market development, (5)policies making by government. However, by Five Force Model, there is a conclusion that dealers only can reduce the cost of production or transportation efficiently when they combine compactly to enhance bargaining power themselves, taking strategic alien for example.
In short, to approach equilibrium between production and demand , we should completely request dealers to declare breeding scale. Chinese soft shell turtle in Taiwan aquaculture industry should strengthen the management of the production and the concept of the using the proper chemical medicine treatment. Developing new markets, increasing consumers' willingness to buy domestic product for maintaining the stability of production and sales in advanced.
