碩士 / 南華大學 / 生死學系碩士班 / 104 / The purpose of this study was to investigate the dream of male dreamer who was being a soldier and working overseas, and understanding the connection between the content of dream and life-event. Moreover, it would know the event that was often happened in the dream, the transformation when dreamer changed his/her lifestyle, and the dreamer get the insight and changing after he/she explore his/her interior sub-consciousness, to realize how to assist the dreamer do self-regulation. This study used the qualitative research and depth interview, explore the dream of the study participants, and connection with his waking life, according to the summary of the resulting interviews and previous studies, submit the reflection of this study and bringing out of the suggest for the future researchers.
The results revealed and concluded below: (a) Category of event which would be happened frequently in dreamer’s dream: Making a choice in 12 dreams that would be appear frequently in our dream, for example, The stress, The limited feelings, Emotion feelings, and so on. (b) The variety between living of dreamer and dream content: When dreamer leaved from his/her familiar surroundings, his/her dream content would start to easily show up the scenes with more emotional fluctuation maneuverings, negative feelings, and struggle. (c) The way of the dream help the dreamer face incapable of adapting for living: The dream would use a symbolized way to help the dreamer having a choice, express sentiments, and release the depress of feelings.
