碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 航運管理研究所 / 104 / The main purpose of this study is to probe what’s the key factor on accidents of handling out of gauge cargo during the shipside operation at container terminal. the shipping company and the terminal operator can effectively control the risk, executive and assessment for reducing the damage caused and further take the actions to curb relative accidents re-occurred, thus the terminal operator can share the reasonable cost resulted from the accident to reduce the impact on itself. A research framework including four key factors of operation and fourteen factors of key risk is proposed based on literatures review and interviews with experts. The results of AHP analysis indicate that factors of personal operations is perceived as the most important factors of key risk for handling out of gauge cargo during the shipside operations at container terminal, followed by factors of equipment operations, factors of cargo operations, and factors of environment operations.
