碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 104 / This research is based on existing fire personnel rescue traning courses, regular/professional training courses, the international marine crew basic and advanced fire training courses and the Kaohsiung Harbour Fire Department. The Kaohsiung Harbour Fire Department also uses the three sources of information above to structure their own courses. By reviewing, comparing and restructuring the material in the courses above based on past insufficiencies or new knowledge we are able to improve the courses as well as strengthen the rescue skills.
The other way of developing new courses is to use the existing marine fire rescue training courses to help find new and specific classes of ship fires, the basic skills to rescue and analyze the situations involved with specific types of fire and review the previous research and improve upon it. The professor can arrange and structure new courses with higher quality standards for the Fire Department to be used in marine fire rescue training.
