For extending ship’s life and ensuring its safety,the shipbuilding company needs to pay attention to not only the manufacturing process but also the coating procedures. This thesis discusses the impact and necessityof PSPC (PERFORMANCE STANDARD OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS) which will be used in ship coating. In addition,this research presents some recommendations and relevant information about ship coating to shipbuilding industries for construction of better ships
