碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 104 / Because the metal corrosion would cause structural failure and threaten the safety of ships, the anti-corrosion technique is the most important research topic for ships operating on the sea. Some techniques have been used for corrosion control on ships: Sacrificial Anode Cathode System with zinc ingots (SACS), Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System (ICCP), Noble metal, etc. Among which, the coating technique is most convenient technique to be wildely used in shipbuilding industry. This research will discuss the coating quality, inspection skill and some methods for decorating ship’s appearance with particular anti-corrosion effects. Then, some recommendations will be given in order to reduce the bio-electrochemical corrosion and sea-creature corrosion in the marine environments.
