Analysis of Recreational Scuba Divers’ Sensation Seeking, Leisure Experience and Happiness:A Case Study in Kenting National Park / 休閒潛水者之刺激尋求、遊憩體驗與幸福感研究 -以墾丁國家公園為例

Through the promotion and development of recreational scuba diving activities, will lead the people participate in a wide range of leisure, improve physical and mental health to create additional value such as tourism and leisure, and enhance the development of leisure economy. The study focused on leisure divers sensation seeking, recreational experience and happiness.
Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, one-way ANOVA, t-test, and so on. The results of the study were as follows: Sensation seeking was, significantly, positively related to happiness. Sensation seeking was, significantly, positively related to recreational experience. Recreational experience was, significantly, positively related to happiness. Recreation experience of sensation seeking and happiness had mediating effects.
The results of this research revealed: The relationship between sensation seeking and happiness is partially mediated by recreational experience. According to the findings, the study proposes management unit: First, the female ethnic group is gradually expanding trend, women diving friends should give more considerations involving more women in this area. Second, the study found that strength, high diving experience happiness, characteristics of diving activities, including diving experience, relax pressure relief effect with joy with friends and family and other areas. Third, do the different prices on package tours for many industries in order to meet the different needs of divers. Fourthly, with a recreation of the longer time to adapt and learn process skills also have to reduce tension of the leadership or the rest of the divers, recreational experience and the feeling of happiness will also increase. Five, sensation seeking through the recreation experience, divers can enhance the feeling of happiness.
