碩士 / 南開科技大學 / 電子工程研究所 / 104 / To address rapid population growth and global food crisis, Aquaponics systems became one of several critical technologies in the world. The purpose of this thesis is to enhance the quality of life of the elderly. An Aquaponics system combines the farming of fish with the cultivation of plants. Further use of technology to solve the problem of food shortage, through the remote control and monitoring system for mobile communication is monitored by mobile phones. One is to monitor the animals and plants. The other is to observe the behavior pattern analysis of planting vegetable for the elderly at home. We had implemented a gateway for uploading sensor data into our server. We interpreted these signals sent by instruments through the RS232 port. The gateway sent information translated by these signals to upload to the server from the IoT chip. We hold an elderly tablet teaching activity and introduce our Aquaponics system with Nantou County Private Jerry elderly nursing home. Elderly are pleasure when they learn our Aquaponics system and tablet operation. In the future, we will use wearable physiological monitoring devices to measure the relevant physiological information in order to increase the happiness index after analysis of relevant information.
