Effects of various feeds on the ovary development and maturation of Yamato shrimp,Caridina multidentata / 不同飼料來源對大和米蝦卵巢發育成熟之影響

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 水產養殖學系 / 104 / The purpose of this reearch is to explore the effect of various feeds on ovary development and maturation of Yamato shrimp (Caridina mutidentata) further to establish breeding techniques and feeding scheme. Moreover, estrogen and androgen was examined to investigate the growth and sex control of juvenile shrimp.
Observation of Yamato shrimp ovarian stage 1 development through 66 weeks, it was presented with a significant increase from the 2nd to the 12th week and, with a decrease trend from 12th to the 18th week. From the 18th to the 30th week, it was observed with a second peak and it was moderate after the 30th week. Comparison of various treatments, the result indicated that treatment of blood worm was with a best inducement of ovarian stage 1 development and the following was hard clam, control and hormone feed.
Observation of Yamato shrimp ovarian stage 2 development through 66 weeks, it was presented with a significant increase from the 2nd to the 10th week and, with a decrease trend from 10th to the 18th week. From the 18th to the 24th week, it was observed with a second peak and it was rendered after the 24th week. Blood worm treatment was with a second increase trend and the peak high in the 14th week. After the 14th week, it was not presented with a significant exchange. Hard clam treatment was with a second increase trend and the peak high in the 18th week. After the 18th week, it was not presented with a significant exchange. Treatment of hormone was similar to the control group.
Observation of Yamato shrimp ovarian stage 3 development through 66 weeks, it was presented with a significant increase from the 3rd to the 18th week in the control and hormone treatment and, with a decrease trend from 18th to the 27th week. From the 27th to the 45th week, it was observed with a second increase peak and it was rendered after the 45th week. Treatments of blood worm and gard clams, it was with a increase trend from the 12th to the 18th week and with a drease trend after the 18th week to the 30th week from the 30th to the 36th week, it was with a slight incease and following to derease after the 36th week
Fertilized eggs development into the pre-hatch period in 7 days at 26 ± 1 ℃. The larvae fed with artificial diets and Chaetoceros muelleri after 22 days metamorphosis into benthic juvenile in 28 ± 1 ℃ and salinity of 18 ppt Juvenile, after hatching six weeks, fed estrogen and androgen feed showed that no significant effect on sex ratio in 16 weeks.
